dance without borders
CONNECT LIKE YOU’VE NEVER DONE BEFOREFed up with the current xenophobic trend? The problem with "othering" is that it doesn´t make the world a better place. Realising that we belong together does - that we belong to the human species, and that diversity is the spice of life. Dance is a great way to experience the joy of our kinship and to see the beauty of the human spirit.
I am inviting you to come and dance, to come as you are. Nobody cares if you have two left feet. All you need is a wide open heart that embraces all of humanity. That´s all. Come and dance to music from all over the world to celebrate the positive, healthy side of the human heart.
The dances will be guided so that you can relax and enjoy. Wear clothing that is comfortable so you can move and dance easily, and bring some fruit to share at the end. |
BEHIND THE SCENESHELLO. I am Paula, a European citizen living in the UK for 25 years. I am a Biodanza teacher and a full time parent carer. As the widow of a British citizen and the mother of a special British son, I was shocked to find out that I can´t get PR, a document confirming that I have the right to live in the UK. Without it I can not apply for citizenship and go back to life as usual. I have been living in limbo since the Brexit vote. There are countless others. Many more than the 3 million EU citizens in the UK and 1.2 million Brits in the EU.
